Privacy Policy

The parts-request form collects the name, email, optional phone, vehicle information, requested-part details and optional photo you choose to provide. These details are used to assess and respond to your request.

In this implementation, request details and uploaded photos are stored privately in this website’s private request database and are accessible to site administrators. Requests are not published. A short-lived hashed connection identifier helps limit automated submissions. Uploaded photos are accessible only to the site owner. The website host may process ordinary connection logs. eBay handles activity after you follow an eBay link under its own policies. To ask about access, correction or deletion of a request, use the contact page and identify the email used for your request. Do not send payment details or identification documents.

Website usage analytics

We measure page views and clicks to our eBay listings using a random browser identifier saved on your device for up to 30 days. This provides an estimate of distinct browsers, not a count of individual people. We store the page path, eBay destination, referring hostname and event time. Records older than 90 days are removed when new activity is recorded. We do not store IP addresses, names, email addresses, search queries or full referrer URLs in these analytics records, and we do not send analytics to an advertising service.

Analytics is skipped when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled, when browser storage is blocked, or when you opt out using the control below. Signed-in owner activity, admin pages and known automated browser agents are excluded. You can clear your browser storage to remove the random identifier; opt-out preferences must be set again after clearing storage. Website hosting may retain separate operational connection logs.

eBay account connection

The site owner can authorize an eBay account connection for inventory updates. Application credentials and returned access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted in the private website database. These values are used on the server, are not included in public pages, and are not requested from shoppers. Authorization does not activate automatic inventory updates by itself.

The website also receives marketplace account-deletion notifications from eBay. Incoming payloads and signatures are saved in an encrypted private inbox for verification and processing. They can contain eBay account identifiers. Only the site owner can access the connection setup; unverified notifications cannot trigger deletion. The website host processes these records on our behalf. Contact us to request removal of stored connection information, and revoke the application’s access in eBay to withdraw authorization.
